Agility UK offers a fresh and relatable approach to health and safety, HR and employment law in the UK. Their dedicated team of experts work closely with organisations of all sizes and from all industry sectors to resolve their employment law issues or health and safety management concerns.

Business Challenge & Driver

  • Agility UK provides a self-assessment service to its clients for Risk Assessment production through the distribution of Compact Discs.
  • This method of distribution/technology was obsolete, with the added associated management concern of ensuring client passkeys were still valid.

How Innoware Helped

  • Innoware developed an Online Risk Assessment Management Tool.
  • The tool enables customers to login to the system and complete their assessments online in a workflow fashion.
  • Risk Assessments are assigned a renewal date and all associated actions come with an auto email prompt.
  • A dashboard enables managers to obtain a quick view of upcoming, overdue, and incomplete assessments.

Results

  • Combined with online marketing activities, the Risk Manager system has enabled Agility UK to increase its existing repeat revenue stream and up-sell other services to new users of the system.
  • In addition, clients of AgilityUK are now even more confident that they will always be compliant with the latest Health & Safety standards.

About

The Rugby Football Union is the national governing body for grassroots and elite rugby in England, with 1,900 autonomous rugby clubs in its membership.

Business Challenge & Driver

  • The RFU’s 50 Development Officers have a remit to encourage more people to play rugby across all age groups.
  • Each officer is given his or her own targets to manage this fostering, e.g. visit to a particular rugby club.
  • The previous method of tracking progress against these targets was handled by a paper-based system, whereby the officers would submit a handwritten copy of progress and an administrative assistant would complete a series of spreadsheets – which would in turn be aggregated by Managers.
  • The data was often out-of-date by the time it was collated, and it only provided a snapshot once a month.

How Innoware Helped

  • Funded by Sport England, Innoware developed a reporting hub that allowed Officers to login and upload their progress against key targets.
  • With the data held centrally, the system could then produce stock reports and graphics automatically to reduce wasted effort.

Results

  • The site was built within 2 months, enabling the RFU to meet interim organisation targets as part of a wider back-office application refresh.

ProSkills

About

ProSkills promotes the Process and Manufacturing Sector, and is responsible for managing standards and qualifications and raising the sector as a real career choice.

Business Challenge & Driver

  • ProSkills are required by the UK Commission for Employment and Skills (UKCES) to maintain the National Occupational Standards (NOS) for their sector.
  • With over a hundred read-only PDF documents to manage, the effort of organising reviews with industry experts and updating the NOS was huge.
  • ProSkills were looking for a solution to streamline this workflow, saving time and money.

How Innoware Helped

  • Innoware developed a document management suite.
  • The suite allows NOS documentation to be previewed and edited in real-time.
  • Any changes are saved to an archive, with the ability to rollback to any previous version.
  • A management tool sends email invites to sector experts to review NOS segments, and collects feedback in a review console.
  • Documentation can be downloaded and edited in alternative tools offline if required, and re-uploaded as the latest version.

Results

  • Innoware has saved ProSkills a considerable amount of manual workload by automating the process.
  • The success of the tool has seen ProSkills look to work with us on integrating the publishing of the latest NOS with the central repository held by the UK Commission for Employment and Skills.
